Brescia is the second city of Lombardy, about 70 km by road from our base in Vaprio d’Adda. In the centre are Piazza della Loggia, the Old and the New Cathedral side by side, and the Roman Capitolium with the monastery of Santa Giulia, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Mille Miglia, the race for classic cars, starts and finishes here.
All around are the Franciacorta hills with their wineries, Lake Iseo and the Brescia shore of Lake Garda, from Desenzano to Sirmione and Gardone Riviera. On these roads a convertible such as the Ferrari Portofino M or the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 is the right choice; for business or family trips there is the Mercedes-Benz V-Class.
