This page explains which cookies and similar technologies the rsservicerent.com site uses and how you can choose. For the rest of the information about your data, read the privacy policy.
1. What they are
Cookies are small files that a site saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser's storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), serve the same purpose. Some are needed for the site to work; others measure visits or advertising and need your consent.
2. Technical tools, always on
These do not need consent: they make the site work and remember your choices. We do not use them to profile you.
- cms_consent (browser storage): your cookie choice, for 12 months.
- rs-lang and rs-intro (browser storage): the language chosen when the site opens and whether you have already seen the opening animation.
- cms_utm (session storage): the campaign you came from, added to the WhatsApp message; it is deleted when you close the browser.
- cms_pop_ followed by a number (browser storage): a site notice you have already closed, so that it is not shown again.
- Cloudflare may set technical security cookies (for example __cf_bm) to tell people apart from automated programs.
- Staff who log in to the management panel receive login cookies (cms_s, cms_staff): visitors never get them.
3. Statistics without cookies
We collect the site statistics with our own system, which uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. How it works is explained in the privacy policy.
4. Tools that need your consent
If we turn on third-party statistics or advertising tools, the site asks you with a banner, with buttons to accept, reject or choose. Nothing starts until you choose: for Google tools, Consent Mode stays on "denied".
The tools we can turn on are:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited): statistics. Cookies _ga and _ga_*, up to 2 years.
- Google Ads and Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited): advertising measurement. Cookies _gcl_*, up to 90 days.
- Meta Pixel for Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited): advertising measurement. Cookies _fbp and _fbc, up to 90 days.
- TikTok, Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Snapchat: advertising measurement, with their own cookies (for example _ttp, _uetsid, li_*, _pin_unauth, _scid).
You can see which ones are active right now in the banner, under the preferences.
5. How to change your choices
- With the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page, or with the button on this page, you can change or withdraw your consent at any time. If you withdraw it, the site deletes the cookies of these tools and reloads the page. The link appears only when the site uses tools that need consent.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, following its help pages. If you block the technical tools, some features of the site may not work.
