A luxury car in Amalfi
Amalfi gives its name to the coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site: white houses, covered alleys and stairways, and on the square the Duomo di Sant’Andrea with its long flight of steps and Arab-style bell tower. In the town you go on foot; the car is for the rest of the coast.
The Amalfi Coast by car
The coast runs from Positano to Vietri sul Mare: thirteen villages linked by the SS163, a road of about 40 kilometres that runs along the sea, bend after bend. From Amalfi you climb up to Ravello, pass through Maiori and Minori and reach Vietri, known for its ceramics. In the other direction the road leads to Positano and then to Sorrento; beyond are Pompeii, Castellammare di Stabia with its view of Vesuvius, and Naples, once the capital of a kingdom, with its palaces, museums and a life that never stops. Positano, built into the mountainside with its pastel houses, is worth a stop along the way.
There is something for everyone along the coast: in Ravello, Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone with their gardens and terraces over the sea; in Maiori and Minori the widest beaches; in Cetara the fishing harbour and its anchovies.
The roads are narrow and busy in summer: a compact convertible such as the Porsche 911 Cabriolet is the easiest choice, an SUV such as the Range Rover Sport works if you travel with a lot of luggage.

We deliver the car to your hotel, villa or the harbour, or at Naples airport if you fly in, and collect it wherever you tell us, even elsewhere on the coast. We agree times and place together and confirm them in writing. On average we reply within 10 minutes.
