The car
The SL 63 is a car for long, unhurried journeys with the roof open, along the Riviera or on into Switzerland. The SL name has a long history at Mercedes, and this generation was developed entirely by AMG in Affalterbach. It is also the first SL with all-wheel drive, which is reassuring in the rain and on cold mountain roads. The two rear seats are small, best kept for bags.
