Amalfi Coast
One of the Italian pearls is the Amalfi Coast starting from Amalfi and arriving to Vietri sul Mare . It seems almost born from a painter ‘s palette that has wanted to draw a landscape that enchanted the visitor ; a vertical view in which you can admire , between stepladders and paths , the two elements that mark this territory : the sea and the mountain .
All the villages of the Amalfi Coast are linked together by a very narrow but panoramic road the SS 163 of about 40 Km with side by side curves above the sea that show a sublime view almost surreal .
There are 13 villages this strep of territory declared world heritage by Unesco in which you can find the most known Amalfi , the city that gives its name to the coast that is an agglomerated of white houses linked by covered alleys and staircases ; do not miss the Duomo di Sant’Andrea with its important , coloured and picturesque staircase and the belfry in Arabian style .
Carrying on the road you can admire the two tiny towns of Maiori and Minori till to arrive to the famous Positano , secular and fashionably, famous for its stepladders and magnificent views .
The town is entirely set , almost like in the nativity scene , on the mountain that overlooks the sea . Its steep roads and its pastel colour houses have enchanted artists and writers of all the world.
Going towards Salerno you can stop in Vietri sul Mare , famous for its solar and lively artistic pottery production .In the proximity you can find Pompei , Castellammare di Stabia ( with a breath-taking view on the Vesuvio ) and maybe arrive to Napoli and visit the city that has been the capital of a powerful reign and , for this reason the cradle of culture and art but also the place of great vitality.
The majestic Vesuvio dominates Napoli and the Penisola Sorrentina creating with its unique shape a view that you will love .
You can choose if to rent a supercar ,a comfortable luxury car or a SUV and enjoy your vacation in total serenity
